At this stage medical intervention is neccesary in order to restore you oral health to an acceptable condition.

However the good news is that before your oral health gets to this point, there are many things you can specifically do to halt this painful advanced condion of the mouth.

What You Can Do To Prevent Gum Disease.

1. Brush your teeth regularly.

This removes the plaque and food debris that consume on a daily basis. Brushing regularly also has the benefit of preventing the formation of plaque buildup, which left untreated will cause periodontal disease.

Its also important to acknowledge that regularly means daily, several times daily with floride toothpaste.

2. Flossing

Many people may brush their teeth but neglect to floss. Flossing is important because it gets into those hard to reach places, and removes sticky food particles that a tooth brush just can't reach.

So don't forget to floss regularly. Its also important to use the proper technique when flossing so that you get the maximum benefit.

3. Regular dental visits

are also very important to head off any developing conditions that your untrained perhaps will not detect. In addition to that, any tartar build up from the (hardening of plaque) can be removed and treated so that it does not advanced to a more serious condion. Thats always nice.

4. Don't use tobacco products if at all possible.
